Our mission is families and supporting their faith through the avenues of formation events and curriculum.

Our new program called THE TEN launches this year on October 1st. Registration begins this August.

• SCDA Kids - Preschool through 5th grade

• SCDA Tots - Ages 1 to 3

THE TEN revolves around your family going to Sunday Mass. We want our families to know they belong, to feel at home at SCDA, and for the SCDA Kids to love coming to Church.

SCDA Tots

Ages 1-3 are welcome on Sundays during THE TEN, year-round, in Room A. SCDA Tots focuses on learning through play and a Catholic foundation. Pager will be provided for parents to help with any issue or bathroom needs. SCDA Tots meets both during the 10 AM Mass, and during Connect, please pick up your Tot during the lunch time. FREE - No charge

SCDA Kids Preschool

Sundays during THE TEN, from October through May, preschoolers will gather in Room D to hear Bible stories, create crafts, and grow in their Catholic faith through play and Gospel based, hands-on lessons. SCDA Preschool meets both during the 10 AM Mass, and during Connect, please pick up your Preschooler during the lunch time. FREE - No charge

SCDA Kids

On Sundays, from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, SCDA Kids will be attending THE TEN with their family, which includes Mass followed by fellowship and formation. SCDA Kids Connect will meet by grade level and is designed with enthusiasm to help each SCDA Kid grow in their love of Jesus. Connect is on select Sundays when our community will group by age for relevant and engaging faith discussions tailored for each group:

• SCDA Adults - no registration required, FREE

• SCDA Youth & SCDA Kids - registration required, Connect meets in designated classrooms

• SCDA Tots & SCDA Preschool - during both Mass and Connect, FREE

$125 per SCDA Kid (Grades 1 - 5, Kindergarten is FREE).

SCDA Family price for 3 or more kids or teens enrolled in SCDA is $300.

SCDA Kids - Eucharist I (Year One) & Eucharist II (Year Two)

SCDA Kids prepare for their Sacrament of Reconciliation and Sacrament of the Eucharist for two years. Eucharist I and Eucharist II SCDA Kids will attend THE TEN including SCDA Kids Connect. Families will attend the Parish Faith Formation Days in Advent and Lent. Eucharist II SCDA Kids and family will attend two Sacrament preparation day retreats to prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of the Eucharist. $125 per SCDA. Kid SCDA Family price for 3 or more kids or teens enrolled in SCDA is $300.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

This year-round program, when scheduled, provides SCDA Kids with an energetic age-appropriate experience of God’s Word. During THE TEN, before the readings, SCDA Kids are dismissed for Liturgy of the Word with Miss Emily. SCDA Kids grades Kindergarten – 5th grade may attend, with our Middle School youth leading as volunteers. No fee or registration is required.

Saint Francis of Assisi School Sacrament Program

Children who attend SFA and whose family is registered at SCDA, prepare and participate in their Sacraments here at their parish. The program includes attendance with their Families at the Parish Faith Formation Days in Advent and Lent and the two Sacrament preparation day retreats to prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of the Eucharist. $125 per kid
