Heart and Soul Ministry is the bridge between Santa Clara and Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in Santa Ana. The parish serves over 10,000 families with eight masses held in Spanish, Vietnamese, and English. Our outreach programs serve to breakdown stereotypes and barriers and give parishioners insight into the IHM parish community. Building a "Puentes del Corazon" (Bridges of the Heart) is the goal of our ministry. Having a way for their ministries and groups to co-mingle with ours here at Santa Clara is one of the missions. Heart and Soul looks toward participating, sharing, mingling, and a collaborative effort to embrace the Latino culture. Our community outreach programs with IHM have been very successful and include monthly food drives, "Adopt-A-Family" at Christmas, and connecting our Santa Clara parishioners with IHM for a variety of services and donations. We have been very blessed to be a part of this ministry and look forward to working together.
