Sacristan Ministry
A sacristan serves the parish community in a valuable role by making physical preparations for the liturgy, assisting with needs during Mass and in attending to necessary details as the liturgy concludes. The sacristan diligently arranges the liturgical books, the vestments, and other things that are necessary for the celebration of Mass. Sacristans usually serve only one (1) Mass a month, arriving 30 minutes prior to ensure that everything is set up properly. Then after mass, ensuring that the altar is cleared and put away, or prepped for the next mass as needed. Volunteers are needed primarily for the Sunday 8 am Mass, but all Masses would be appreciated. Training will be provided.
