SCDA YOUTH ELEVATE
The mission of Elevate is to give teens a space to grow in their relationship with Christ and provide tools to be life-long disciples. During our weekly sessions, we hope that the consistency in community and formation of spiritual gifts will translate to a desire to keep commitment to their faith long after high school.

Men Awaken
Our group is rooted in the desire to grow in our everyday relationship with God.
Men Awaken challenges each of use to be the best man, husband, father, friend, coworker and follower of Christ that we can be! We meet Thursday mornings as the sun rises and breakfast burritos and coffee will be served! Join us every Thursday morning at 6AM.
Heart 2 Heart
H2H is a caring community of women devoted to Christ, who share deepening relationships with one another in a safe, supportive environment while growing ni their own spiritual awareness. We offer each other spiritual encouragement and foster friendships in our church community and outside community. We come to know each other through small groups sharing and activities focused on our mutual Catholic faith. We meet at 9:00 AM on the second and fourth Thursday of every month.
Embrace: Grief & Loss Support Group
Grief is experienced in so many ways—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Being with other grievers can make your grief easier to carry. While every loss is unique, having the support of others who have experienced loss and understand your feelings can be comforting. EMBRACE is a safe environment where one can tell her/his story and express feelings freely, knowing that others will understand and be supportive. All are welcome!
Lent Parish Faith Day
This is a chance to come together in faith and fellowship while serving our local community and church campus. All ages are welcome—let’s put our faith into action and make a difference!
SCDA Kitchen ~ Cleaning entire kitchen space, inside cupboards, shelves & walls
SCDA Outside ~ Cleaning entire building stucco, webs, outside windows & grooves, weed, repair Memorial Garden
SCDA Inside ~ Cleaning inside windows, chairs, classrooms & floors
SCDA Projects ~ Skilled adult volunteers will participate in woodworking, painting, and repairs on the campus
Yorba Linda Food for Families Local food bank in Yorba Linda who offers items to people and families in need
Saint Francis Home In Santa Ana, this elderly care home, managed by Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception
Casa Teresa In Orange, Casa Teresa is a home for pregnant women who are alone and have no support
HIS-OC Home In Placentia, Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County runs programs that assist people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless
Ronald McDonald House Provides comfort, care and support by keeping families together when their child needs medical care in Southern California hospitals

SCDA YOUTH IGNITE
Ignite is our Year 2 Confirmation formation for our teens who wish to complete their Sacraments of Initiation. During this second year we focus on the teens through intimate small groups, challenging discussions, and opportunities to practice what it means to be Catholic.

Parish Penance Service
Join us after THE TEN for our Lenten Penance Service. We will have multiple priests here on March 23 to hear confessions. This day is open to the entire parish and will take place after fellowship at THE TEN.

Men will gather to discern the Word of God and share some beers. This Bible study is for men 18+, and will gather one Friday a month, from 7 – 8:30 PM. Men are invited to also attend First Friday Adoration, from 6-7 PM, but it is not required for the Bible Study. Childcare can be available if needed.
Seeking God: A Bible Study for Women
This is a Girls Night Out with the Word of God. We gather with wine and share appetizers from our own kitchens. So much of our time as women is spent giving to others, this Bible Study will refresh your soul. We bring so much distraction with us, this will be your moment to let everything go away, to be still, and listen to the Word of God.
This Bible study is for women 18+, and will gather one Friday a month, from 7 – 8:30 PM.
Join us on our date night with Jesus.

PARISH ADORATION
Join us for our Parish Adoration at 6PM. This is the perfect opportunity to spend time with our Lord in prayer, worship, and community to prepare your hearts for the month! After Adoration, all men and women are invited to our Bible Studies, Seeking God & Bible on Tap, child care is available.

Los Angeles Youth Day
All high schoolers are welcome to join our SCDA Youth Ministry for a one day conference, Los Angeles Youth Day. The cost is $40 per student and is from 7:15am-4pm. If you have any questions, please email youthministry@scdayl.org

Costs for food is approximately $45 with tax and tip. Santa Clara can cover $15 to take down the price to $30 per person!

Our SCDA office will be closed Monday, February 17, in honor of President’s Day. We will be back in the office Tuesday, February 18 to help with anything you need.

MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH DAY
Encounter Jesus & enjoy the thrills of Knott’s Berry Farm! This is for 6th-8th grade students. There is a registration fee of $80 ($50 with pass), which includes MSYD festivities, t-shirt, & an AYCE buffet!
