Join your SCDA community on March 10th
for Mass, lunch, and a day of service in action.
This Faith Formation event focuses on service within our local community, and on our church property. Each of our Faith Formation ministries will coordinate and facilitate a service project at SCDA to be completed entirely on this day.

Serve at SCDA
Option 1: the SCDA Kitchen
Volunteers will be cleaning the entire Kitchen at SCDA from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Jobs include but are not limited to: cleaning cupboards and drawers, cleaning countertops and walls, organizing, and CLEANING. There is a limited space, and no families with small children please.
REQUIRED:
All volunteers must bring their own cleaning supplies, brushes, and gloves
Option 2: SCDA Outside
Volunteers will be cleaning the building stucco, cleaning stains, eliminating spider webs, wash the outside windows, cleaning the grooves, weed, and repair Memorial Garden at SCDA from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. This job is ideal for families with children.
REQUIRED:
All volunteers must bring their own bucket, bristle brushes, and gloves. Power washer and electric saws needed.
Option 3: SCDA Inside
Volunteers will be needed from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm to clean chairs, clean the church floor, clean tall window eaves inside church, wash the inside windows, clean classroom white boards, clean classroom floors and baseboards. This job is best for families with all age children.
REQUIRED:
All volunteers must bring their own bucket, and gloves.
Option 4: Wood Repair
Volunteers with wood working skills can be used to sand and paint the wood picnic tables. All screws must be tightened on the benches. A crew will also be repairing wood fence, and removing posts. Electric saw needed. This job must be completed from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. This job is skilled adults only please.
REQUIRED:
All volunteers must bring their own sanders and sand paper. Paint will be provided.
